Deep Creek Lake Reviews

The location was definitely the best part for us. Being so close to Deep Creek Lake made mornings easy, like we could just get up and get going without spending a bunch of time in the car.

The lake access was nice, but it was a little less clear than I expected based on what I saw online. We figured it out, we did, but we had to ask around a bit first, so that part could’ve been explained better.

Overall, it was fine. Not amazing, not terrible, just fine. I’d probably use the site again, but next time I’d double check the exact lake access details before booking.

So, they did get back to me, but like, it just took a bit longer than I was hoping for. I mean, they eventually replied, so that was good, but yeah, the wait was kind of a little frustrating.

Check-in was smooth and easy enough, and everything seemed to go fine for the most part. Check-out took a little longer than I expected, but it wasn’t a huge deal

I was excited to get my booking sorted, but the site kept freezing right when I thought I was almost done, which got frustrating fast. Then some extra fees showed up later in the process, and that really took the fun out of it. I did manage to finish everything in the end, so that was a relief, but overall it felt way more annoying than it needed to be

I was annoyed right away because my maintenance requests just sat there for days with no response. It felt like nobody really cared or was in any hurry to fix anything.

At first, the price seemed reasonable, so I was feeling good about it. But then extra fees showed up right near checkout, which gave me a bad impression. The whole thing didn’t feel very upfront, and I didn’t like having to wait until the end to figure out the real total.

The place was fine overall, but the listing definitely made it seem nicer than it actually was. Some of the details weren’t accurate, and the photos felt like they were taken a while ago. What made it more frustrating was that there wasn’t really any human contact either, so when we had questions or noticed things were off, it all felt kind of impersonal. Not a terrible stay, just annoying when you show up expecting one thing and get something else.

We had a really nice stay at Deep Creek. I’m picky about cleanliness when I travel, and this house definitely passed the test. Everything felt clean and comfortable, and the amenities were a nice bonus. we didn’t run into any issues at all, which made the whole trip easy and relaxing.

I’m not sure what anyone could complain about here — the cabin was super clean and felt well taken care of. I had no issues with it at all.
